UF Global Medical Training invites students to participate in an informative event about Army medicine and the opportunities one can receive in the Pre-health field followed by a suturing workshop were students have the opportunity to learn, hands on, how to suture. Lead by Captain Sanders and his team, you can practice suturing on pig’s feet and learn about the scholarships the Army has to offer! The event will be held in Carr Hall Room 120.
To participate, you can Venmo $5 to UFGMT to save a spot or pay $10 at the door! The Facebook page can be found here.

Our first general body meeting for this semester will take place on Wednesday, FEBRUARY 22ND at 7:30PM in the Computer Science and Engineering building room E221! We will be discussing our upcoming medical/dental mission trip for this Summer break! We will also be discussing some upcoming fundraising and volunteering opportunities! UPDATE: Shirts are finally in!! If you ordered a shirt you can pick them up next Wednesday (1/25) in Library West. GMT exec members will be at the tables right across from the Starbucks in Library West from 2pm to 5pm.
If you did not order a shirt, but would still like to purchase one you can do that too! Shirts are only $15 and we accept cash or you can Venmo us!
Thank you again to everyone who took the time to apply to our Peru trip! We have begun the interview process and the final list of trippers will be notified by Wednesday, December 21st.
