ACORN Clinic Halloween Event Point Opportunity

Point Opportunity: Helping victims of Hurricane Irma in South Florida. Bring 2 non perishable items to our meeting tomorrow for one point!

First GBM Fall 2017

Hi Everyone! Our first GBM of the semester has been moved to next Thursday (9/21)! Location will be announced as soon as it is confirmed.

Also, our winter break trip this year will be to Nicaragua! Trip applications will be on our website by tomorrow. The application will be open until October 14th at 5pm.

NEW Point System:
This year we are implementing a new point system for members only. Points will be awarded for attendance at our general body meetings, volunteering, and service events that we will hold as a club. Depending on how many points you accumulate, you will be given preference for spots on our medical mission trips.
But, points will be supplemental to your application and do not guarantee you a spot.
FIRST POINT OPPORTUNITY: Bring 2 non perishable items to our meeting on 9/21 for a point!

Hi all!

Please continue to bring donations to GMT executive board members that benefit UF’s Field and Fork Pantry, in honor of Abby Dougherty. We are in Library West this week (you’ll see us with a yellow poster) accepting donations. Please reach out to us if you have trouble finding us across from Starbucks or on the 2nd floor. Army Suturing Clinic 2/27

Hey all!

UF Global Medical Training invites students to participate in an informative event about Army medicine and the opportunities one can receive in the Pre-health field followed by a suturing workshop were students have the opportunity to learn, hands on, how to suture. Lead by Captain Sanders and his team, you can practice suturing on pig’s feet and learn about the scholarships the Army has to offer! The event will be held in Carr Hall Room 120.

To participate, you can Venmo $5 to UFGMT to save a spot or pay $10 at the door! The Facebook page can be found here.
